What are we all about? Who’s behind Hell’s Half Acre? Here’s why you want to partner with a brand like ours:

It started with an idea shared by three friends in northern BC. Maybe it was the snow, the gin, or the fact that they wanted a side project, but this is how Hell’s Half Acre Coffee Company began. Where did they get the name?

Inspired by the pioneers from the Peace Region of BC and Alberta who had the vision to create a trade route that would provide a link to the west coast through the Rocky Mountains.

Hell's Half Acre gets its name from the most daunting section of land negotiated by the trail blazing crew. It is a quarter mile section, where huge chunks of rock lay in their way, the product of an ancient slide off the face of Mount Watts. Today, only the bravest and most adventurous take that route: a 47 km out and back hike from Kinuseo Falls to Monkman Lake or a one direction 63 km hike over the Rocky Mountains and ending just north east of Prince George.
